3. Lateral bending, yielding the shoulders and quarters


Moving turn on the forehand, shoulder-fore/in basic lateral movements will begin the journey towards better balance and symmetry. Build on the soft neck work to create lateral bend, suppleness and engage the inner hind leg. This module is based around video feedback and in depth coursework.

4. Longitudinal bending

Simple transitions to trot, transitions within the trot and trot circles will start the journey towards collection. Your horse will learn how to control his energy without leaning on your hands. The usual coursework, feedback and video explanations support this module.

5. Basic Canter


Work on improving your canter with simple transitions and exercises to help balance. Canter on the correct lead by creating the right balance and understanding how the canter gait works. Supported by coursework and feedback.
